MICHAEL GETZ
Michael Getz has aspired to become a great artist since a young age, winning contests, both local and national, all through his years of general education. In 2005 he attended the Illinois Art Institute and was quickly offered his dream opportunity of becoming a tattoo apprentice. Michael has been tattooing since 2007, initially following his love for illustrative color work, but over time, specializes in fine line detail, black and grey illustrative realism, and black and grey micro realism. After years in the tattoo industry, learning the pros and cons from multiple cities and studios, he partnered with good friend and fellow artist Broc Logan to launch a new take on modern and professional tattooing and its offered environment, Legacy Tattoo and Art Co.

The Blackwork tattoo style is just what it sounds like, tattoos with no color they only use black ink. Blackwork tattoos can range from very simple tattoos to something very complex. Blackwork is a great style if you want a tattoo that will stand out.
Black and Grey Tattoo Style
The black and grey tattoo style is one of the most common. You can do any other style of tattoo in the black and grey tattoo style. This style focuses on shading to make tattoos look great. And, is what some call the OG of tattoo styles.
